Refined and balanced, the Alvie Flatback features two petite cubic zirconia stones set in sterling silver base metal. Designed with an internally threaded post, it sits flush against the ear for a secure, comfortable fit, ideal for everyday wear.

Is your jewellery hypoallergenic and safe for sensitive skin?
Yes, we design with comfort and sensitivity in mind.
Most metal allergies come from nickel, and none of our pieces contain it. Our sleep-safe flatbacks, everyday hoops, and dainty huggies, along with all necklaces and bracelets are made from sterling silver or 14k gold as the base metal. Both are hypoallergenic for all-day comfort and long-term wear.
We choose these precious metals not just for how they feel, but for how they last, skin-safe, timeless, and made to hold their value.

Can I wear my jewellery in the shower or ocean?
Our pieces are tarnish-resistant, and we use a thicker-than-standard gold plating, designed with everyday wear in mind.
Showering is fine, our pieces are made for everyday wear.
That said, daily exposure to saltwater, chlorine, perfumes, and active skincare (like sunscreen or retinol) can be harsh over time. These elements may cause fading, dullness, or tarnish, so the longer you keep your pieces away from them, the better they'll hold their shine.
If you’ve been for a dip, rinse your jewellery in fresh water and dry it gently. When you're not wearing it, store it in the pink jewellery pouch that comes with every order, it keeps your pieces safe, dry, and looking their best.
